Whoever said that the customer is always right obviously never met a customer!
I was reading this post at teflonminne about how customers somehow think that they will get better service the louder they scream. Or the angrier they are. Im working in the service area to atm. Fixing problems for the customers hosting solutions they have at my company. Im only working with companies so there is no private customers, which are the worst. But there is still a few morons.
One group of these morons that think shouting is the solution to everyones problem is what i like to call the ”screaming idiots”! They call you up and scream at you that it isnt working. When you try to help them or figure out what the problem is they keep on screaming at you, as if your supposed to instinctively know what the problem is. And one of the most common features of these guys is that its most often their own fault. This is my take of what probably happened: They did something stupid and now someone else have to be responsible! So they call a random customer-service number for one of their services, doesn’t matter which one, just customer-support. Oh and as the customer-support usually is busy talking to customers he might have to wait a minute or two which makes him even angrier! So when he finally gets to talk to someone he is a Bee with rabies and a dented pride! When finally the problem is located and it turns out that it actually was the customers fault! This is the best part. This is when you get that comfy feeling and the customer is is feeling soo ashamed. Or probably not, most of them are to stupid to recognize that they’ve been flogged. So they keep on screaming for a minute or two and then just hangup.
